getcertified

We're the only Australasian organisation accredited by NATRUE to certify health and bodycare products  (cosmetics) to its internationally recognised standards.

Like us, NATRUE is a non-profit organisation. It promotes and protects natural health and bodycare products around the world. Depending on which criteria you meet, you can be certified by BioGro to any or all of NATRUE's independent standards:

Natural Cosmetics

Ingredients must be natural but they do not have to be organic (from organic production). Being certified as natural guarantees consumers that you’ve met NATRUE's standard for natural cosmetics and distinguishes you from competitors who make claims about their natural status without any proof.

This level is the foundation of the NATRUE label: it defines which ingredients are permitted and how they may be processed.

Products of the other two levels (see below) need to fulfil the criteria of this level first.

Natural Cosmetics with Organic Portion

Natural cosmetics containing ingredients of organic origin. At least 70% of natural* ingredients must stem from certified organic production and/or certified wild collection.

Organic Cosmetics

At least 95 % of natural* ingredients must come from certified organic production and/or certified wild collection.

*and/or derived natural, where applicable

Producer Profile

Millton Vineyards and Winery (BioGro No.99)

Organic winemaking pioneer James Millton sees BioGro as a profound and internationally recognized trademark. ‘Being certified as biodynamic is one thing, but getting into particular markets is more difficult, hence the need to be certified organic by BioGro’.
